After our time in Maggie Valley and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we headed to Hot Springs, AK. We met up with some family and spent the next 3-4 days exploring the area.
We took one day and did a day drive out to Petit Jean State Park where we did a couple small hikes and saw a beautiful waterfall.
We spent another day at the Hot Springs off road park where David and his brother could do some jeep trails. These trails definitely had a different vibe from the trails we did in Moab in previous years. They were much more wooded.
Our last day we spent at Hot Springs National Park. This park is so different than any other national park I’ve been to. It’s basically located in the middle of downtown. We did some hikes that day, explored the hot springs, and saw some of the old Hot Springs bath houses.
