Caribbean Cruise 2015: Jamaica

Climbing the Dunns River Falls in Jamaica was probably my favorite excursion.  I’m so glad I talked David into doing this one, and he even admitted that he really enjoyed it.  Climbing the falls was actually much easier than I thought it would be (I wasn’t even sore the next day), and the water was so refreshing!  If we ever go back to Jamaica, I would definitely do this again.  If we had more time that day, I would have climbed it a second time, but unfortunately, due to how long it takes to get to the Falls from the cruise terminal, we were limited with how much time we had.

The only downside to the GoPro, is that it’s not exactly the easiest thing to review the photos you have taken.  You have to go through a menu, scroll through some stuff to find your photos.  We didn’t really ave time for that while doing this climb, so David and I just snapped and went on.  Next time when photographing around water we will make sure to wipe off the lens.  I had to get rid of so many photos where there was apparently water on the lens and it blurred our faces.  There was what appeared to be good photo of us at the bottom of the falls (before my hair got wet and I looked presentable) that (you guessed it) got ruined by said water.  Next time I guess I’ll know better.

After our climb on the Falls, we were taken to the Dolphin Cove where we had lunch and got to visit with some beautiful exotic birds.

Jamaica. Is. Beautiful.
