We received our wedding video! Well, the online proof of it. I waited to watch it with David. We loved it! Gosh, it just brought back all those memories and the high of our wedding day that it made us (okay, me) want to do it all over again! haha! One of our biggest regrets is that we didn’t have enough time to talk and really spend some time with all of our guests individually. Some people we didn’t have much of a chance to talk to before they had to leave that night (the downside of getting married on a weekday is people have to leave early to go to work the next day). That being said, it was so neat seeing moments that we missed and people that we didn’t get to spend much time with because we were busy that night trying to get around to everyone. People were actually dancing at our wedding, y’all!! We really wanted everyone to dance and have a good time, and while I know (or think) everyone had a good time, I wasn’t sure how much dancing actually went on. Well in the video it’s shows a lot of dancing (or maybe it’s just the way they edited the video). Either way, I’ll take it and that’s how I want to remember it. 😉
It is a little weird (uhhmm…awkward) watching yourself on film. I totally understand why some actors say they never watch themselves on tv. It. Is. Weird. But once I got over that part, it was really awesome to see and a joy to watch what everyone else did at our wedding. I think it’s going to be so cool to show our kids one day.
We were allowed to request changes if we wanted which is why they let us proof it online. We didn’t have any requests, so hopefully soon we will actually have it in hand. I decided to refrain from sharing the video here as it’s not just all about David and me, but it has our guests on there, and I want to respect their privacy as well. 🙂
