After my hair and makeup ladies arrived, things started happening pretty fast. They started with two of my bridesmaids, so while they were doing that I just kind of hung out and wandered in between our getting-ready room and the reception hall to see the decor slowly come together. My florist showed up with our flowers and I fell in love. Even though I had given Lara a good idea what I wanted for my bouquet, and the types of centerpieces I wanted (one high, one lantern, one wooden box), I never told her what kind of flowers or look I wanted for the centerpiece flowers. I just told her “whatever goes with our bouquets.” She did an amazing job. I also tweaked my bouquet some after my bridal session. I decided to add a little more pink to the bouquet for some more color. It looked amazing. I loved my bouquet.
Here’s how the florals for the day turned out:

Reception flowers and if you look closely, you can see my DIY Table Numbers.

And this is how my DIY Moss Letters turned out. Pretty good if I do say so myself. 🙂

After my bridesmaids were finished with their hair and makeup, it was my turn. I didn’t have anything too specific I wanted for my hair…just down with lots of curls and pulled off my face somehow. And I told Taylor to just make me look natural with the makeup. As always, they did an amazing job. Right when I first started getting my hair and makeup done, my photographer showed up, and just before I finished up my videographer showed up. It was a crazy, but neat feeling having all of your vendors (and in my case, close friends I work with in the industry) start to show up.
At this point, we were probably about three hours away from ceremony time and an hour and a half away from our first look.
